Im just about 15 and I weigh 313 pounds, suggestions to lose weight

Ok so I have a deadly problem on my hands. Im just about 15 and I weigh 313 pounds and I need to lose weight badly. I dont know how to. I do diets but they are so hard to stick too. I hate being big and people saying stuff about me. Please will anyone tell me a way that I might be able to lose weight.

drink loads of water and eat three meals per day! make sure you get atleast 15 mins of exercise everyday for 6 days a week. Loosing weight requires patience so… keep your cool during the process lol

okay…first get this through your head…diets dont work!! its not aout what you take away from your body…a diet is just something that takes necessary foods your body need away…which is silly! you need to start thinking about what yo put in your body, not what you take away from it… youve probablly heard this a million times but eating heallthy and exerscising reguarly helps… go out and buy yourself and exerscise video or two and make an effort to exerscise even 10+ mins a day will work! now, you wont see results right away…because nothing, not even diets can do that. but after about 2 weeks youll start to feel different a bit better about yourself…keep up with the eating healthy and exerscising reguarly and youll start to see results…its takes a bit of time though but be patient. if yo stick with it, it will be worth it in the end!

I was overweight too 13 , 4’ 10” and 160 pounds it sucks I know… but I lost the weight and you can too I am now 120 I did this by eating right 6 really small meals a day and healthy stuff!! no chips fast food , just no junk food eat losts of vegs and walk for excersise to begin with if you need anymore help dont be scared to ask!!! keep your head up and smile a lot… it help trust me :)

If you need to lose over 100 lbs you really should consult with doctors. Loosing that kind of weight will not happen overnight. You need a physical to be sure you are healthy enough for exercise and you need to find out if you have diabetes or other conditions that complicate things.

As far as diets go the best books I found were by Dr. John McDougall. Remember that a diet shouldn’t be a temporary fix, unless you want to regain the weight later you have to make permanent life-long changes to your lifestyle.

You’re right, it’s real hard to be 15 and overweight. Kids are cruel. I go through it every day like you.

All I can say is to talk to your doctor. They can help you find a plan that will work for you. Or maybe get your parents (or whoever you live with) to in a nutritionist.

If you perfer not to do either of these, try this.

Eat 4-6 SMALL meals a day. This will help metabolism. Also, EXERCISE.
