Have you used evernote or another memory / knowledge management software before?

I’m reading a book where the author mentions devonthink, but evernote seems similar and is free :) But, while these things seem popular (kind of like a software version of a commonplace book)…well, I haven’t used one so I’m not sure the value. Any experience to share?

I use vue to organise my life, and to brainstorm for assigments. Im not sure if this is in anyway similar, but I like it anyway! It helps me think and remember stuff (quite a challenge sometimes…)

I’m seriously considering software in this genre b/c it’s getting pretty popular…and i read enough I forget far too much :)

Yes, thats the one! Its awesome. I dont even like brainstorming but this makes it all so easy and it works for other things too. The lecturer who converted me to it actually used it to plan out everything in his office!
