Zaping zits with tree oil

I was reading kiss magazine and it said that lavender and tree oils are good for “zapping zits”… I dabbed it on my fface with a cotton bud but then read the back of it and it said that not to be put on neat to skin..? Does this mean I shouldnt of put it on my face? Did anyone else try this ? Do you think it will work ?

Hi,

It means don’t put it directly on skin…ie. pour it right on. If you dilute the lavender and tea tree oil to about 1:1.15 and then blot it on with a q-tip or cotton bud, you will be fine. It supposedly dries out the zit.
