Yellow spider eggs on washing line

I went to put my washing out on the line the other day and I noticed that there were little yellow eggs on the pegs, there were also some grown spiders around. So I I assume that they were spider eggs. So I removed the pegs and wiped down the line. The next day I bought new pegs and hung my washing out. When I went to bring them back in there were eggs all over the clothes. The clothes are still out there because I am afraid to touch them because im a bit sqeemish and I am worried if this will happen again if I put another load of washing out. Any ideas?

Answer #1

I found them on my line before aswell there gross, all you can do is just keep wiping the line and pegs, sure im always getting bird poo on my clothes so count yur self lucky

Answer #2

Simple, spray your entire line and check for any spider webs around the corners and edges if there are GET RID OF THEM IMMEDIATELY get a outdoor bug spray specially for spiders and spray the line and leave it for awhile (wipe your line (duh?) of any eggs and webs etc. before you spray) also keep your pegs inside because A: small spiders won’t crawl into the holes, B: they last longer
