What does this email mean?

So I went out with this guy a long time ago and I feel we had a deep conection. Basically he was my first and sometimes I think my only love. He dumped me out of no where with no reason. And it took a long time to get over, well sometimes I feel that I”m still not over. Well I seen him a few years ago and we hung up but really it was like a one night stand kind of thing. Last Oct he emailed me, I don’t really remember what the email was about, just like stupid stuff but he never responded back to me. Now yesterday he emailed me again saying “Hey what’s up, I haven’t talked to you in a while, what’s new? What does this mean? And why does he do this? I’m so confussed.

Dont take it as he is liking you. I was in the same boat, I mean he is still around but whenever he calls me or texts me its so he can get some. It means nothing. Try to stay over him. You probably will always love him deep down, I always will, but try to look at the bad things. Not the good. It wont help. If you need to talk feel free to ask me anything
