Answer #1

wow…thats intense..

Answer #2

No, I don’t trust them. Yes there are some people out there who really do need help but there are others who will try and rob you or something along those lines. I know someone who tried helping a guy out by giving him a ride and he ended up getting shot because the guy just wanted his money.

Answer #3

I don’t think you should EVER pick up a hitchhiker. You don’t know what kind of person they are. They could be a murder, or rapist! And besides, if your caught hitchhiking, a cop will pick you up alright… and take you straight to jail because hitchiking is illegal in most US states.

They are correct, don’t. However, I have never not stopped. I’ll always stop. I’ve driven miles out of my way to get them where they want to go, like 50 miles!

Answer #9

Answer #10

I do to, but it’s better not to, specially in modern civilization. You never know what their inventions are, I wouldn’t trust them.

Answer #11

Well I feel bad about it to…but havn’t you seen the movie hitchhicker…where he is a murderer!

Answer #12

Yeah, I always tried to stop for them - and I’ve hitchhiked myself many times, so saying it’s not safe is rubbish. I actually gave a hitchhiker a lift when I was driving myself home after passing my driving test, he was the first person I gave a lift to. They’re usually pretty sound and full of decent banter.

Answer #13

I don’t stop for hitchhikers. If I see somebody and they look like they need some help, I might, but not if they’re hitchhiking. The other night, it was like 9pm, and it was windy and raining and a woman was walking with her two babies… so I picked them up and gave them a ride. Other than that, I usually don’t stop for anybody.
