Is it worth it to buy an Iphone 3gs instead of a prepaid Go phone?

it really depends on what you want out of the phone. if you just wanna call and text, then go prepaid. if you want a supercomputer… go i phone.

It depends how much you intend on using it. If you text or call people often or have long talks, Pay as you Go is a very bad option for that. Pay as you Go doesn’t have rates as good as the plans you can sign up for, it also doesn’t have any perks. I’ve been a Pay as you Go customer since I was 16 (7 years now), and it has cost me a lot. The only reason I selected the option is because I don’t like contacts. I also don’t like the fee you have to pay for early cancellation.

Anyways.. for low usage, Pay as you Go is fine. For higher usage, go with a plan. They often have some pretty sweet deals with plans.
