You need to get to the vet asap. When a puppy has a severe worm infestation, it csan be very serious. All the wormers you get from the pet store will not be what you need. You need the wormer you get from the vet.

Good Luck

ALL puppies have worms…I’m assuming that you’ll be taking the pup to the vet for it’s shots…and wellness check…the Vet will give you wormer to deworm your pup…You should get to the Vet as soon as possible, tho…It DOES need vacinations…wormer, and a health check.

I had the same proble with my chiauaha a fews ago. it’s common in puppies, usually caused by eating fesis. There is a pill (that any pet shop should carry) that you give to the puppy (I wrapped a piece of sliced cheese around it) and the worms should go away within a week or so. The worms are called “roundworms” I think…I know the worms were actually long and very thin.

OMG my suggestion to you would be to call a 24 on call vet asap.Good luck.

Yes go to the vet, sounds like rounds, but could also be tapeworms, Tapeworms come form fleas, and most all other worms are transfered by fecal and oral, this means your dog could step in infectied feces and later on groom it self and ingest an egg or larva. Most worms are not visable to the eye, you need to do a stool check at the vet hospital and it is called a Fecal Float, Set up your appt, for health check and vaccines, and get it on HeartWorm pills, depending on age. This little dogs need treatment fast, because they are so tiny their body can go down hill quick. The vet will give you a dewomer to use based on what types of worms and your dogs weight, I would not buy over the counter stuff.
