My daugter keeps getting worms. And im going round the bend in trying to keep them away. In clean my house from top to buttom, but they keep coming back. It makes me think my house is dirty. What should I be cleaning the house with?and treating the hole family.and I've bin using all sorts and will the anti-bacterial airisol kill the eggs.please help.
First of all, your child getting worms is not related to your housekeeping abilities - even children from the most immaculate of houses are prone to it...as a matter of fact, it's a very common childhood ailment.
Children who play in sandboxes, or even with other children are at risk of ingesting the eggs.
Make sure when you treat the child, the whole family is treated as well, because it can be passed on to other family members. Make sure your child is washing her hands frequently (especially after using the toilet) and keep her nails trimmed and clean. Try to keep her from chewing her nails. Wash her bedding often (and on the day of treatment), and make sure she's wearing panties to bed to help prevent eggs from getting stuck in bedding.
Try not to get too discouraged, eventually the problem does pass and it's uncommon for children over the age of 12 to have this problem. In the meantime, don't kill yourself trying to sanitize your house...if you can't keep her away from the source of the problem (playing outside, with other kids, etc.), it will be be counter-productive anyway.
she is 13 years old . and have been teating her and faimly ever time she gets it. and she keeps getting them back has dont for a very long time now. years. she is always put her hands in her mouth. drives my crazy. its getting to the point now where im so inbarised to keep going to the doctor, so I buy the treatment over th counter. and is costing a lot.
Unless the eggs are on the lips, then no, you can't get worms from kisses.
if your kid has worms isnt that somthing in side her not the house
