What do you think the world would be like if we didn't have scientists?

There wasn’t peace before those things existed. Who do you think are the ones who solve many problems and are the reason half of us are living right now? Many people would still be dying as children if science didn’t discover ways to cure common ailments.

well, we probably wouldn’t live as long… but we also wouldn’t have food that’s filled with chemicals and plastic surgery and whatever else that’s bad for us.

We would be very dirty and die a lot younger…. more babies would die… , no antiseptics, no sewers, poop everywhere… I’d rather have a toilet and a gun than live in a teepee.

No computers, no funadvice, no life.

Probably so. No tv….no dvd’s no tecnology. We woukd be screwed lol. Im pretty thankful for all of it

sorry be fore scientist were round humans still killed humans actually human killed humans far more often and used rocks tied to sticks so don’t think that weapons wouldn’t exist that was the first think man made .

I would have gotten drunk on old wine. Wine from the time before the earth was blown apart… This was the time of science. After finding the wine, I got drunk and passed out… I fell into a large deep whole with soft dirt walls as a landing sled.. As I awoke I found a squire box made of silicone.. I opened the box. In it was a book. The ancient book of science. using the book as a guide I learned how to grow food and capture light. I learned how to stay warm and sew a blanket from materials flown in by bugs. I understood the makings of those bugs by reading of Darwin. This to came from the book….. Soon I made tools and medicines from drying the bugs and hardening the dirt… I began to dig… I knew the direction I was seeking by using the maps from the book. The star maps… As I was digging, I realized no one in my world knew of science.. almost 10 thousand years had past since the great explosions. Nothing remained.. Everything that would die, Died.. Those that survived remembered nothing.. Those that were born later had no past.

Digging and Digging and Digging, I finally hit the water fall. I dug into the back as the water roared down the hill… I moved quickly to the side of the water fall following a trail that focused in a northern downward direction…
In the book I studied topography, I knew where in this landsrath I was standing… I knew the exact location…

Atleast, I hit my destination… I spent several days setting up shop and begin to build my machine. I created a machine that could cushion a fall and had accuracy of descending objects. This simply means this machine can be used as a landing device if anyone falls into it…

I heard the nightfall coming.. Almost dark… The sounds of distant natives were getting closer.. I was safely in a giant crater several hundred feet below…

Drums, a scream , a loud ritual and silence.. Suddenly I heard a torpedo like thunder… This was my que… I pushed the machine to the center of the crater… this was a huge deep creator with a water fall to the left area… This crater was ancient ,the size of a small lake., several hundred meters deep… foliage trees and plant life lived peacefully and plentifully at the bottom of this crater..

I fashioned my Newtonian telescope to the ground, looked through the man made eye piece upwards and to the right… I knew what I was looking for….
A small dot appeared in the telescope lens… Larger and Larger the dot appeared… That meant the machine had to be turned on…. I had mathematically equated the correct position for the projectile if it fell on this day…, and it was falling on this day… The equatorial maps representing time and day had not let me down..

As I looked up I could see the projectile falling… Soon it got closer. I grasped the retaining bar when the object hit the cloth map rapper hinging on the machine belt rods…

I closed my eyes and counted… At 7 I pulled the lever…. The machine doors closed creating 4 walls with a free opening to the night sky…

The projectile came in fast. Faster then I had predicted… With a small whoosh sound it landed on the rapper of the machine…. the machine rebounded just has I had created it to rebound… Finally the machine went quit. I looked into the rapper. The moon reflected a most beautiful site.. A dark skinned young spanish women lay with her eyes closed. She had been sacrificed into the volcano.. The Volcano I had dug into… I had calculated correctly….

The next morning my new girlfriend and I awoke together. She did not understand what had happened to her.. She had been drugged up the night before. She had been waiting for this her whole life.. they tight her up, had a party then through her into the fire of the Volcano God… That being me…

As the days went forward everything was bliss… Then a problem occurred. We could not understand each other… The frustration mounted as disagreements over food, cleaning supplies, and sex consumed most of our days… I fell in love with her, I was so deeply in love with her.. Now I had to leave her for good, to the other side of the crater…

As I set up camp alone in isolation.. I hated that I had found that book. I hated that I had ever traveled beyond my own realm. I hated that I ever won that bet with the brothers from the Eastframe. A bet that would lead me to the old wine bottles and the fall into an ancient hole..

I was hurting… I hated life… Nothing could help me.. Nothing… I decided to end my life.. I pulled out one of the old empty wine bottles and broke it on a rock.. I trembling as I took a piece of broken wine bottle glass and put it to my wrists… Trembling and sobbing and talking to myself, I fell to my knees… Suddenly I said something I had never heard before… Yet I understood it clearly… In desperation I said.. with my head to the ground, and my life at its end, I at the end of self…

“God please help me….!!!”

Thus is the beginning of modern man…!

The universe has provided every single thing human beings need to live. I|WE got cancer because we inhale polluted air, because we eat artificial and food added by dangerous chemicals. This days we know stroke, heart attack, lungs cancers etc, because we feed ourselves on those food contaminated by various dangerous chemicals from food preservers to food coloring. As a cow can deliver their baby naturally, so can human beings. We are way far too greedy in many things. Universe will always find it’s way to have the balance. If we cut down the trees, universe will give us flood and landslide and so on. The death caused by natural illness like influenza is not as big as those caused by wars and poverty.
