No, but my brother-in-law does. He works as a dealer,waiter, and bartender depending on what day.

I know someone who did. He just walked into the cruise lines office at the port, told them he speaks three languages and he’s been working as a waiter and asked whether they have a job for him on any of their ships.

My acquaintance has been working there for a year, but he quit because he feared he’d become an alcohol addicted. He gained a lot of money there. But they don’t have a lot of spare time on board, and they only had one bar for the crew to hang out. The cabins were small and he shared his with a roommate. So all he could do when he wasn’t working is sit on his bed and read books or go to the bar and drink. When he noticed he could do half a bottle of vodka in the evening and still walk a straight line, he decided that he had to change his life.
