Is it possible that words can speak louder than actions?

The pen is mightier than the sword and whatnot. Witty, verbose, and inspirational speech has moved peaceful nations to brutal genocide and shaped the civil development and democratic maturation of our own fledgling country.

Oh yea, think how many times just one simple word from a friend or loved one can change your disposition from happy to sad. Words linger and inspire and sometimes hurt and can’t be forgotten so easily, it’s the reason why some will say to always choose your words wisely.

I think it depends on the situation. In a lot of cases talk can be cheap because anyone can say something, but not mean it or not actually follow through with what they say they will do.

Words can be powerful, but a lot of time the action is what helps validate the words or give them meaning. The saying that ‘actions speak louder than words’ most commonly refers to that. Often it isn’t saying what you’re going to do that counts, usually doing what you’re supposed to do does.

No Words are what carries out the action. actions are what happens physically while words can only affect mentally unless they were ordered first before the action. kinda confusing :-/
