What do these words mean?

what does asphyxiated and guillotine mean?

Answer #1

well asphyxiate means to suffocate or be smothered.

and a guillotine (which is my favorite word by the way) is this big device that has a really sharp heavy blade that’s held between like two wooden posts and the blade is dropped usually to behead the victim below..it was used in like the late 1700’s/early 1800’s. have you ever seen in a movie where they something like “OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!” and the crowd is like YEAH! and then the behead the guy in one of those things..? yeah just a random little thought lol.

Answer #2
