Why won't my hair straighten properly?

Im using Toni&Guy ceramic digital hair straightener.

Answer #1

Well some hair will straighten easier than others, try turning the heat up, go over the hair several time, get straightning spray to put on it to, hope this helps

Answer #2

If its really thick, then its normal to have problems, the best thing to do is to have it heat up as much as possible and also go over it several times. Try to tie it in different parts and do each part of hair multiple times and then go to another. Using a thick straightner will also help, skinny ones are more usefull for thin hair.

Answer #8

It might be because your not going thin layer after thin layer. i have alot of hair and my hair is a wavy frizzy mess but if i start out with a really thin half of my hair and do tiny sections at a time it usually works

Answer #9

actually, thin ones are better for thick hair. because in thick hair you have to do littler pieces of hair and the thin straighteners are better for that. thick ones are good for thin hair because you just have to go over the hair a few times for thin, and it covers more. moms a hair stylist (:
