Why won't wi-fi work on my ipod touch?

Normally my ipod touch just automatically joins the network router but last night i cleaned my ipod screen and i turned my ipod on today and on the top left the internet signal strength bar things aren’t there. So i go onto settings to click on wi-fi but the words are just gray and nothing happens when i tpye it and by wi- fi where it normally would say connected it says no wi-fi, what do i do?!?

same thing happens to me ! sometimes it takes a day or so to reconnect to the wifi ! have you brang it any were out of your wifi zone!

Is the wi-fi in your house working with other computers? Make sure that that is good first.

If not, go into your ipod touch settings, and under general, there is a setting to reset the network. You should be good after.

it works for my computer and iv’e tried re- setting the network, that didn’t make any difference.

Yeah i have been out of my wifi zone, but i always do, water must of got into it or somit? cuz literally when i go on settings and try an click on wifi nothing happens and its just gray when obvs ive got my router that works perfectly fine :/ i really dont know wat to do

Try going into settings > Wi-Fi and click the blue arrow next to your wi-fi name. then click on “forget this network”. Reset, then try to access Wi-Fi again, and enter your wi-fi password.
