If a woman is a Jehova's witness where I can take her?

I mean can I invite her to the movies or that is something forbidden to her. If anybody knows tell me please thank you.

Answer #1

Uh I may not be of much help but someone who is a Jehovah witness is suppose to date within their religion. My I have a couple of friends who are J.W. Don’t take her to a scary movie (or maybe that’s a personal thing). My friend sent me this ‘Deuteronomy 18:10’ I don’t know what it means exactly but yeah. Sorry I wasn’t of much help. :/

Answer #2

They aren’t forbidden to go places unless their parents forbid them personally. They just can’t celebrate certain holidays.

Answer #3

Unless your wanting to take her to a christmas party I think you should be okay =) Why don’t you ask her though.

Answer #4

Any date of a respectful nature should be fine. Just because she’s J.W. doesn’t mean she wouldn’t enjoy a good time.

I went to school with and worked with a few Jehovah’s Witnesses. A few things stood out to me. JWs do not get involved in politics. They won’t vote, work to elect candidates, or run for any sort of office. They don’t join the military or paramilitary groups like the auxiliary police or Boy Scouts of America. JWs do not view nationalism the same was as most people. They see patriotism as a form of idolatry. They will not salute the flag or say the pledge of allegiance because they believe that they should only honor and serve God. Of course some JWs are stricter than others and the church itself leaves many things in the gray area up to the conscience of the individual. JWs are widely known to refuse blood transfusion even when necessary to save their life or that of a family member but now this is left up to the conscience of the individual. Your best bet is to play it by ear and respect her beliefs.

Answer #6

AHAHAHAHAHAH omfg this is hillarious! Not sure if trolling or serious

Answer #7

You can take her to a bible study and help her read the true word of God :)

Answer #8

In my experience JWs Biblical knowledge is better than most. JWs believe that other Christian liturgy is heavily influenced by pagan influences. JWs exclude what they feel are classical and pagan elements in Christianity (e.g. Christmas, communion, trinity, the cross). You may disagree with JW’s interpretation but their Biblical scholarship is very strong.
