Wisdom teeth how long does it take you to recover?

I got my wisdom teeth out 2 days ago and my cheeks are big and my mouth is really sore!! If youve had yours out too…when did your swelling go down and how long did it take you to recover???

My mum had it done not so long ago and it took her about 5 weeks to get over it. It was constant pain for 5 weeks- sorry to dampen your spirits.

her face was only swollen fro about 3 days.

Remember eeryone’s differnent so dont worry about it hurting too much for 5 weeks!

Takes about a week. the younger you are the quicker the swelling goes down. Mine took about a week and the after that I got a small infection that took another 5 days or so.

It took about a week for the swelling to go down totally. You might find that your face will become black and blue. Mine did. I was fully recovered within 2 weeks.

I didn’t get any swelling. I just ended up with that condition called dry rot, or dry pit, or something along those lines. It was NOT fun.
