Windows Live Movie Maker-help!

Why does it show that the files are corruppted? I have had this problem before when working on a project with the same person. I think she saved something wrong. Last time, the video corruppted on HER computer, but luckily, she saved it on SkyDrive before. This time, we tried to save it on SkyDrive, but it didn’t work! I am quite sure she saved it wrong, because the size is only 70 KB, which is very small for a 4 min. video. Also, the file is a wlmp. not a wmv. Could someone please tell me how to prevent/fix this? Thank you!!

The WLMP extension is not a movie file, it is a project file. The file size is small because all the sources for your project (video, pictures, etc) are only referenced to their location.

If you want the movie file, you need to open up the wlmp file in your video editor.

You need to export it and you will get your WMV movie file which you will then be able to play. Do this via the “save movie” function.
