If you need a signature then you are screw*d but if you know the pin and no signature is required then I guess if you are that desprate. Go for it.

Do you know the PIN? If so you shouldn’t have any trouble. If it is a Visa/MC debit card most fast food scanners will treat it like an ATM and require the PIN as well.
