Will someone please help me!

My boyfriend had chlamydia about 6 years ago and he says hes infertile, I know this may sound bad but I have been with him for 3 years, and hes talking about marriage, I want to have at least one child in the future, we haven’t used a condom in almost 1 year and I was on depo provera up until october of last year, I really want to believe that he can give me babies one day but its kind of hard when he says he was told by the doctor that he has a really really low sperm count and most likely not going to be able to have children. I really need advice, I’m stuck in a rut. Its making me very depressed.

Answer #1

well, theres many options.

it depends. how much do you love your boyfriend? if you really want a child of your own and you’re willing to let your boyfriend go, then do that and find someone else with a better sperm count.

other options include: adoption, surrogate mothers (which usually occur when the woman cant have babies, so yah), or sperm donors.

good luck. let me know how it turns out. =]

Answer #2

I love him with all of my heart. I really do. and that’s what has been driving me crazy. I want to be able to have the child myself, if you know what I mean. I don’t want to leave him, but adoption in a couple of years if I cannot be able to conceive will be the best option. The whole surrogate mothers would prob make me really jealous lol and sperm donors freaks me out. lol but I would for sure consider adoption!

Thank you for your advice, hopefully he can.

Answer #3

What exactly about a sperm donor freaks you out? If you really love your boyfriend and want to be with him, does it really matter whose sperm is used to get you the baby you really want?

Answer #4

You could always try in-vitro fertilization or artificial inseminization…that way you have the option of using his sperm still.

Answer #5

Sperm donors freak me out because it is somebody else sperm going into me. I know it is weird but I just would not be able to do that. I am going to be with him, but it just sucks because he didn’t tell me until about a year ago. and that’s why I stopped using birth control. And we were also at the point where we wanted and were financially stable enough to have a baby. and thank you Kamayl that is the perfect answer to my problem.
