Will I ever be skinny?

I’ve lost lots of weight since last year, and I’ve got myself down to about 95 lbs. From the side I look kinda thin, but my hips are huge so from the front I look obese. It’s disgusting and I really want smaller, less fat hips. My hip bones stick out a bit - does that mean I’ve not got much fat around there, and could lose the fat to make them smaller or not?

I mean, I have a 23 inch waist but my hips are like almost 30 inches.

It’s so depressing, I just want to be thinner.

Women are supposed to have hips. Women are wider on bottom because their birth canal has to be wide enough for a baby to pass through. Women are also supposed to have a bit more body fat than men.

Your question makes me think that you do have a distorted body image. If your hip bones stick it means you are too skinny!

Across all cultures men prefer women to have a waist about 70% the size of their hips. If you have a 30” hips and a 23” waist than your hips are not too large; in fact they are a few inches smaller than what is considered ideal. Go eat a tub of ice cream or a cheesecake if you want to look better.

Answer #2

you do not need to lose anymore weight. some people have bigger hips then others and you can not change that. bones cannot become smaller then they are. just be yourself and if you are nice and stuff to other people…they won’t care what you look like and neither should you. hope this helps

I’m 5’1

95 pounds is VERY thin and probley unhealthy. It sounds to me like you have an eating disorder (contantly worried about weight, false self images, thinking you are fat when you are skin and bones)
