I am trying to get started, I know the basics, but have no actual experience, as my parents are very narrow minded.

For anyone interested in learning more about Wicca, there is a huge selection of books available on Amazon. I highly recommend “Paganism: An Introduction to Earth-centered Religions” by Joyce & River Higginbotham. Scott Cunningham also has many books about Wicca. I enjoy Silver RavenWolf’s works, though others find her a bit cheesy. At any rate, there are literally hundreds of books available online. If you don’t have a debit or credit card, you can sometimes find sellers on Ebay that will let you send cash, checks, or money orders instead of paying with a credit or debit card. The Barnes & Noble at the Columbia Center Mall also has a decent selection of books of Paganism and Wicca.

Finally, Googling “Wicca” or something similar will bring up many websites with forums, FAQs, books of shadows, blogs, etc. about Wicca.

I’m a beginner and a solitary practitioner, but I live in the Tri-Cities area and would be glad to talk. :) My email is raven.minamino@gmail.com
