Why would my best friend go out with my crush and not tell me?

My best friend knows that I’ve’e had a crush on this guy for like a year then all of a sudden my best friend and my crush became like best best friends. Then she would try to make me jealous by showing me all the love notes and texts he would send her then she just straight up told me im with your crush! After she promissed me she wouldn’t! Then he broke up with her I don’t know why. But now she got with my other crush! I have no idea what her deal is we have never fought until now were never mad at each other in fact she is so close everyone at school thinks of us as cousins we even call each other cousins I have no idea why she would do this but my most important question “why would she be doing this”!

she didn’t want to tell you because she knew you liked him and doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. she just probably really liked him too and he asked her out and didn’t want to turn her down. I doubt she’s purposely doing this, unless she’s really pissed off at you, or if you just THINK she’s your best friend and she’s really not because best friends wouldn’t do that. so either she just really doesn’t think she’s hurting you at all, or she hates you. Have you talked to her about how you feel about this? because if you haven’t, she probably doesn’t even know or understand why you would feel terrible when she does those things.
