Why would I have a normal period, stop and start again?

I had a normal period that lasted seven days, stopped, and then started bleeding (not spotting it’s bright red) again after three days! I have my tubes tied and been with the same partner so I know it’s not an std. I have never had this happen before, please help!

You’re completely rude, have no care for what others are going through and need to mind your own business, did your mother drop you as a baby or something? How can you not properly understand the question? Obviously you have not a clue about the female anatomy, and should not be making comments on such topics! Its not something to worry about. I know, im a guy. Lol but im also a scientist so I know of such things. All I can tell you is the human body is EXTREMELY complex and is prone to glitches. Like random missed periods,hiccups, muscle cramps and the like. Oh! Stress can also cause a missed period. It happened to my fiancé a few months ago. But yeah, dont worry about it :)
