Why wont my extensions dye?

Hii people, a few months ago,, I bought real hair extensions and they are black,, and just yesterday, I bought a caramel blonde hair dye for them, because I am wanting them blonde now. On the giude table on the back of the packet of dye, it said that black hair will be turned to brown. But when I dyed the extensions,, they didnt even change one bit!!! What is up with that? Its as if they have some sort of chemical on them that doesnt allow them to be dyed!!

Is there a way of getting them to blonde quickly?

girl the only solution to that is bleach but becareful because sometimes it would make it an ugly color even after you applied the color you want them so try it out in a little piece first and leave in the bleach & hair color for less time than you normally would

you can’t dye a black brown , you can only dye lighter hair darker not the other way around the only way to get black hair to brown is to bleach your hair first and then dye it brown.

there black you cant dye dark hair a lighter colour you can only dye hair a darker colour and no colour will show over black the only thing that will make the black hair lighter is bleach so you have to bleach them first or strip the colour and then dye them

hi I was wondering if us cud help me I have bought sum brand new human hair extensions they were caremel I have not wore them but have died my hair dark brown , I have also done this to the hair extensions I have put six dies on so far and only bits of the hair has took
