Why was Kelly Clarkson missing from the AMA's?

As far as I’m concerned Kelly Clarkson is the best vocalist of my generation and she is an awesome performer, and with her new album out and everything, I am just wondering why she was not at the American Music Awards?

Well, she should have made time for them to promote her new album more! I was really upset! I thought that they had shunned her or something, cause I know things haven’t been going great for her! Thanks for letting me know!

Kelly is on tour, so she couldn’t attend.

In addition, Her CD. My December, was not nominated. Nominations are based on sales, so neither Kelly or the CD qualified in the Top 3 in any category.

Historically, Kelly usually doesn’t attend award shows, unless she’s nominated, and sometimes not even then. :o)
