Why the taboo about girls over 16 dating older men?

ok well ill tell ya because im just going around and just like looking at the different ? but the reason that its wrong is that there are nice guys like me out there and odds are that one of them nice guys like you and are willing to do anything for your attention so if you go and get an older guy then yeah definitely respect yourself im all for that but as a nice guy that has had my heart broken more then once id say just step back and just look at the guys your age that look at you every once and awhile and just go talk to them if they kinda sound nervous like I used to when I talked to girls then yeah he likes you but if this doesnt inlighten you bout nething then ahwell just do what ya want and live happy is all I got to say and that you could be passing the best boyfriend in your life so yeah

I hear ya, I’m not at all interested in guys my own age. At this stage in my life the ideal is about 3 years older. But anyways, I think the main taboo is because these guys are older and they do have a better grasp of manipulation (to put it bluntly). Younger girls can be swayed easily and older guys know that. I think that parents are just trying to protect their daughters in the end.
