why the prices always end 19.99 instead of 20
why the prices of everything always end like 19.99 instead of 20 or 5.99 instead of 6 is only one cent do you know why is like that any answer is welcome thank you.
Both of the above are correct…I’ve overheard people talking to other people about prices before, and sometimes, they’ll round down eg, if it’s 19.99 they’ll say “oh, it’s only 19 dollars”…when really, in California here, with sales tax, it’s about 21.50…however, they’ll convince themselves that it’s 19 when debating on buying or not. Funny really.
