why my webcam works with skype but doesnt work with yahoo messenger

I dont know why my webcam works with skype but doesnt work with yahoo messenger I got my webcam connected works with skype but with yahoo said something like webcam not connected but I have connected and works in skype but doesnt work on yahoo messenger if anybody knows why is that please tell me any answer is welcome thank you.

yahoo messenger is not setup to work with skype…try using gmail, windows live hotmail (msn messenger), aol, mail.com…there are also a bunch of others that nobody ever heard of that work with it…when you install the skype software all you have to do is read the compatible sites…I keep trying to tell peopl but they seem to think yahoo is the best and my personal choice is msn and second choice would be aol

Try changing your web cam settings on the messenger.

I am tom smith my webcam not work my friend connect web side but already show waiting reconnect. not open web side

maybe the camera is not compatible to the version of ym you are using in…

I have a logitech quick cam deluxe and I also have problems with yahoo messenger. The camera does not capture any image the screen is black.
