Why is this guy trying to make me jealous?
On Saturday my ex told me that he had feelings for me and I told him I still had feelings for him too. We had a long talk about it and decided that we will try to get together in the spring because we are both really busy right now and don’t want to start a relationship that is doomed to fail. We started calling each other the nicknames we called each other when we were going out, and we started saying cute things to each other as well. Yesterday, when he told me about his day, he told me he went to the movies with some girl. I got kinda jealous and when he asked me what was wrong, I told him. He told me that he isn’t going out with this girl and that they’re just friends and I trust that. But today when I got on a social site his status said, “Had a wonderful day today with a special friend and his family. Life’s a gift, and life is good.” Is he trying to make me jealous? And if he is, why is he doing it and how do I make him stop? (We talked on the phone BTW, we live about an hour away from each other.) Thanks.
I’m not extremely busy, it was more him, if neither of us had anything going on, I’d go out with him in a heartbeat. I’m not sure if that’s an important detail or if it changes anything, but that was the deal with that.
