Why is my shitzu loosing hair and smells bad?
My dog is loosing hair. Smells bad, Itches all the time. Scaley skin
my boyfriends cousin had the same thing. they had flees really bad and it caused an infection. youll have to go to the vet to get meds, since its not just flees now. :)
may have hot spots… if you aren’t wanting to take the dog to the vet immediately, try using some treatment from walmart or the petstore, if that doesn’t help, I suggest go to the vet… You may wanna just go straight to the vet though, might be infected…
Allergies (which could be seasonal)…could be due to cold weather (which drys skin, which itches…then scratching to the point of injuring it)…Did you change foods lately? Food allergies are common.
I don’t like that she’s got an oder now…that is a lot of skin damage. Take her to the Vet, and get it diagnosed…and save her…AND YOU…a lot of misery.

If it is a certain spot than it probably has a hot spot. If it smells it is because it is infected so you need to take it to the vet to get on antibiotics.
Possibly a skin condition.
Take him to the vet.
