Why is my period lasting 2 weeks?
The past few months my period as been lasting almost 2 weeks. I’m currently on birth control which I thought would give me a shorter period but they’re lasting almost 2 weeks now. Is this normal? Anyone else have this problem?
no, thats not normal birth control IS supposed to make your period sorter and a period of 2 weeks means a ot of blood loss and lost iron you need to see a dcotor as soon as possible to discuss this they may put you on a different brand of birth control that will hopefully work better
uhmm usually a mestrual period takes from 2 days to 8 days . It could be nothing bad at all just maybe you’ve been stressed if this is the first time it happened to you, if not I would strongly recommend you to visit a gynecologist so he can do a pelvic ultrasound.he will probably give you treatment for regulating your periods. Good luck!!
