why is my mom so childish?

I am 18 years old andi ave never live wit my mom until a few momths ago…anyway living wit her is not the problem…I really want to have a relationship with her but she is not willing…she has 2 other children and they live together but am juss the add one out…I tried talking wit her but she said we cant have a relationship…never should I keep on trying or should I juss let her have her way and leave her?

help pls… thank u

well if you really want a relationship with your mom then I think you should continue to try to tell her how you feel…text, or write a note and put it somewhere that you know she’ll have to see it (thats what I do when my mom wont listen to me). my parents got divorced when I was three and from then on I barely ever see my dad. if your tired of being emotionally hurt then I think you should get that out of your life because nobody wants to have to deal with that all the time. you deserve better. whether she likes it or not she will always be your mother.
