Why is manipulating people so fun?

Keys to success? I don’t think so at all. I hate manipulators. I don’t let anyone do that to me, and I don’t do it to anyone else. It has to do with respecting yourself and others. It is much more refreshing and satisfying to get to the top on your own merits than with some kind of manipulation.

People try to manipulate situations when they can’t come up with intelligent and creative ways to get things done on their own (you asked why).

Manipulators have less friends and more people that can’t stand them. If they do have friends it is out of fear about what this person can and will try to do to them.

It’s not fun at all…it’s sad.

It’s a basic human instinct. Humans by nature want control over their circumstances, and that includes the people involved in those circumstances. That control is often an illusion.

A word of advice to you, since you seem to get such a kick out of manipulating people…it’s only fun if it is actually working. When it doesn’t, it wil bite you in the keister. And, you should also realize that people are probably manipulating you.

It makes you feel powerful, it makes you feel you dominate and that you are in control of the situation.
