Why is it that we prefer to read at that time?

I have found that I always seem to really get into books and prefer reading late at night, anywhere from 11pm to 3am or after!! I did this when I was a young bookworm and now again I’m doing it since I’ve taken up books again recently! I’ve always preferred the night and am a total night owl and I actually read faster at that hour. But I’ve actually asked my bookie friends, a lot of whom are early birds but they said that they get this aswell…and it’s not just that we can’t put the book down, there’s something about it…everyone else in the house is usually asleep and you just have your little light and your snuggled up in bed…it’s so quiet…anyone else get this? And do you know why we like it?? Lol

I dont know too. but I usually read at nighttime as well. im an evening person. my brains not too much in the mood during the morning :)

Ye I’m the same you wouldn’t see me near a book during the day… theres just something about the peace and quiet of nightime that makes it a better time to read its like your in your own little world lol… Xo:)
