(it gets annoyong to here the same story) point being, her boyfriend always asks her about what shes doing… Where shes going.. And if shes with us(the girls) and he calls her cell and doesnt pick up, he will call all herr friends just to check if shes really there! Shes tried breaking up with him but he just wont let her go… This guy has also bruised her up before. She said he didnt hit her but did strangle her and choked her. There kids inbetween btw. I guess thats one of the other reasons why she still puts up with his jealousy and stuff.. What shud I tell herr??? I need a legit advice!!

Hmph, sounds like my father. He was a jealous man. My mom thought it was him loving her so she put up with it. She thought it was cute at first, but then it turned into him controlling her. And it will happen with her too if it gets too far. My dad never hit her (I think once though that I remember, but I was young) but he would rough handle her. Almost similar to her situation. And as for kids. My mom had 6. I’m the 4th. One day she realized she couldn’t do it anymore. This wasn’t love, it was control. So she got out. She had no college degree, no home, 6 kids. We lived at a friend’s house for a short while until we found a 3 bedroom house. She went to school and worked 3 jobs to support us, because my father didn’t let us leave with nothing but the clothes on our back… and whatever we managed to sneak off with. We went through hardships, financiallly, emotionally, physically. However, never once did she regret her decision. Never did she wish she could go back to my dad if only for the comfort. As for us kids? It was very hard on us, but we never blamed nor hated our mom for her decision. I am so proud of her, and what she did. She is the strongest woman in my life.

Look, all guys are naturally jealous, we like girls and if we find one… sometimes we can be afraid to lose them. But the jealousy has to be within moderation. If that jealousy becomes control… well then that is when it becomes dangerous.

I’ll be happy to talk more about it, so message me or something. I hope this helps

Why is it that guys are so jealous!?

For the same reason GIRLS are so jealous… insecurity, and a lack of trust.

Shes tried breaking up with him but he just wont let her go… This guy has also bruised her up before. She said he didnt hit her but did strangle her and choked her.

You’re friend is an idiot for staying with him…

There kids inbetween btw. I guess thats one of the other reasons why she still puts up with his jealousy and stuff..

That is the absolute WORST reason to stay with someone…

What shud I tell herr??? I need a legit advice!!

You tell her to …L…E…A…V…E… and possibly get a reastraining order…

This particular guy sounds like very bad news. He isn’t your typical insecure jealous type. From what you said he is also controlling, paranoid and abusive. I don’t mean to alarm you but if he has already hit, strangled and choked her, your friend and her children could be in real danger. What she needs to do is seek counseling and outside help. I suggest looking up organizations in your city that help battered women and protect them from their partners. They can offer counseling and protection for her and her children. As friend all you can do for now is offer your support, give her the information she needs to break free and hope she will take the right decision for her and her children.
