Why is it that females give better gifts to their mates?

Well I got him a big screen TV and he got me a betty Boop gift set. With Slippers,pajamas,watch,nite cap, blind fold,necklace and charm bracelet. I mean I love Betty Boop but wow I could have bought that stuff myself. And I already have most of it anyway.

I’m not sure about ego’s, but then again I’m constantly told I’m not like the average joe.

if you were looking for something specific, in the words of some unknown author

subtle hints won’t work strong hints won’t work obvious hints may not either just say it.

now if you think that your guy should know you well enough to get you something fantastic, be prepared for a certain amount of disappointment. Not saying that men are not thoughtful and whatsnot when purchasing a gift, but a lot try not to be cliche with just jewelry, perfume and day at the spa type generic gifts. and I guess that’s where we fail in that regard, cause that’s what most women probably want.

I could be wrong, and it certainly wouldn’t be the first or last time.

Credit it to the female’s uncanny ability to know much about their better half. Men ought to learn what makes their women tick (but credit your boyfriend nonetheless for his efforts in melting your heart… )

Subtly convince your boyfriend to know more about you so that he can get you stuff you really like (hint: use your friends and his friends to spread those hints)… never say it directly. Consider the truth of men’s egos..
