Why is it sometimes I react to actively to music?

Sometimes when I listen to really good music my body suddenly takes a mind of it’s own. I literally get up out of my seat and start pacing really fast or jumping around depending on the music. So lost in it all I don’t even realize what I am doing and before I know it halfway through the song I realize I’m standing up. The good part is I only do this when I am alone in my room, but still, is this a bad or weird thing? Is there something wrong with me? Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me? :/

It’s called ‘’dancing.’’ I don’t have any studies in front of me, but I do not believe this to be abnormal. In most larger towns, there are even places where people get together to engage in this behavior in groups.
