Is it appropriate for a 14 year old to swear a lot?

I can’t say that cursing bothers me personally, but it generally is unbecoming coming from anyone. There are better words to use as alternatives to describe the things you’re trying to say, so if you could try to find them, I’m sure that it would be better.

For some reason, I can control who I cuss around..I feel like I’m disrespecting my parents/family when I cuss in front of them. I think it’s inappropriate to cuss in public.. some people might even think it’s trashy. Find a word to substitute the bad ones.. :)

I think it’s okay. Maybe not in public too much though because there are people who can get offended. I only curse when I’m talking to my friend and as long as you do that mostly with friends and make sure not to do it all the time in public then you should be fine

Well as long as you can watch your mouth enough to be decent I dont think it’s really an overly bad thing. I curse like a sailor when im with my friends and get pissed off. but I have tons of little siblings and I really have to watch my mouth at home. And its just not nice to swear in public because you never know who’ll take offense to something.

They’re just words. What’s the big deal? I curse a lot. I see nothing wrong with it. :D

Swearing just shows how ignorant you are. I don’t cuss and I’m 16, it just makes people look down on you because your not smart enough to express your feelings in any other way than what people think is “cool” now. When I go pick my sister up from school, I hear little 5th graders cussing. So think about it, 5th graders think cursing is cool, they’re 10!! How dies that make you feel? It should make you feel immature if you ask me, but honestly, I don’t know your life or friends so I can’t judge.
