Why is FunAdvice not accepting my questions?

This is twice now that I’ve had problems answering and asking questions. Does anyone know what’s going on? Is it just me? Am I in some kind of probationary period for something?

So…the first line is the title…I’m guessing it didn’t get rejected from that?

The second part is the description, IF It’s too long, then it’ll get rejected…also anything over a few paragraphs isn’t going to be read by 99% of our members…but, I agree, we should have a more friendly notice there that indicates the question was too long so you don’t lose data.

Nope, we show the duplicates, on screen, and you can rephrase, if it doesn’t go through…has to start with one of eight words, use question mark, etc.

I have no idea why it happens but it has happened with me too. Do you get a page with a video on it? If so then it’s just a techie issue or something. Just wait a little while then get back on and everything should work fine.

You should do that when you’re funmailing people too… I’ve had at least three instances of trying to message people and I’ll spent ten minutes writing out a well thought out reply to something, only to have it come up and say that the user only accepts funmail from friends, which results in me spending half the time writing a quick summary of what I just wrote out as a comment on their profile. I’ve started trying to remember to copy everything I write.
