Why is there an increase in discharge?

for the last 3-4 days or so I have had an increase in the amount of discharge. it can be quite runny compared to normal but it is clear and does not seem to smell of anything. does anyone know why there could be an increase or if it could be anything? I mean I normally notice a little bit more round the time of my period etc and the amount does vary but this is more than usual. thank you

Discharge increase can be because you are ovulating sometimes there can be more discharge during those times or when you are just coming off or about to start your period. Or I can be a sign of an infection so to be sure go see your pcp.

Discharge is almost like your body’s natural mucus/disinfectant for down there. Sometimes you have more coming out than other times. It’s most likely completely normal.
