Why have my periods stopped??

I’m 14 and I got my period when I was 11. After about 6 months of really irregular cycles it just stopped. I haven’t had it since and it’s been almost 3 years. What is wrong? Oh, and I’m not sexually active, still a virgin.

Or overweight? In any event YOU NEED to see a doctor. There are many reasons for no periods, some benign, but some are serious. Quit fooling around and make an appointment. Good Luck!!

why are you waiting until now to ask this?? does anyone else know? that could be a serious problem if it’s been 3 years…infertility, disease, a number of things…get that checked out right away!!!

this sint a good sign you need to see a doctor as soon as you can to make sure nothing wrong and there isnt a more seriouse reasoning for why its stoped other than that it could be because your underweight overexerscising or not eating right …if your doing everything you can to stay skinny, your body will put off your period from comming to focus on keeping you alive

Periods stop when you are underweight or have a serios issue with your fellopian tube!!! ask a gp
