Why have I've liked him for so long and havent even talked to him?

well, theres this guy that I have liked ever since january 5th 2008 and I mean I really like him I’ve know him when I was little probably when I was 6 but he liked my neighbor at the time and he was 7 and I was jealous at that age time I remeber it clearly. then after that I hadnt seen him or ever thought about him until he randomly came back into my life na 5th 2008. at this teen night palce I just watched him platy basketball and just started liking him and I still like him to this day and we had many memories but we actually never talked, like our eyes have if that sounds weird. he sat next to me before on the ground and our feet touched but I didnt say anything. another time it was graduation for the high school and I turned around and saw him and turned back around so I wouldnt see him. then I had to go and as im walking away he was following me with his hands in his pockets starring at me while I was turned around looking at him walking away its like the song one in a million by hannah montanna. and one time at the ymca where teen night was, there was 6 bball hoopps to chose from and he chose the one I was closet to and I didnt say anything, so now im in 9th grade and started liking him in 7th grade and hes in 11th grade. hes 16 and im 15. and he has a girlfriend of 3 months of yesterday. I really want him but im to shy I mean I SEE HIM EVERYSDAY and at the end of the day he has a locker near my cousin and I go there and just pretend to text. I REALLY need help so bad its like im crazy abput this kid I want him so bad, and I swear at least one time back in 08 he liked me I swear it, its just when I talk to my friends they hdont know what to say. just please someone out there help me please I really need help on how to talk to him etc I need help!
