Why has our economy been struggleing?

It is about the economic struggles the united states of america faces this year in 2010. My questions ask Who is the start to all of it? Why is it struggleing and how it is affecting us.

We’ve been heading down this road for years. Part of it is due to social security. When it was first established people weren’t living for very long, so they only collected it for a few years. Now people are living longer and collecting for a lot more years. Of course social security is just a meager branch in the enormous tree of problems that led up to the recession.

Not from America but I reckon the banks in the good, old USA started the recession around the world. I thought CEOs in our banks (Australia) were getting paid lots and lots and with million dollars bonuses every year, wonder how much the Americans CEOs were getting.

At the end of the day, these CEOs should be accountable for the recession you are all suffering as the financial institutions they were working at were not careful enough when lending large loans to big corporations and business people. Many more reasons but these are the only ones I remember reading about.

Not to be boastful, by Australia is out of the recession, thanks to our Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (he f@@# rocks) and now our Aussie dollar is 91 cents compare to your US$1. .. Two years ago, our Australian dollar were almost 50cents compared to yours.

LOL…the poor American soldiers that come and visit Australia every year, won’t get to say ‘we can exchange our USA$10 for two AUS$20” heheee…How the time has changed.

Fingers crossed, USA recession will improve and people can continue living the lifestyle they wanted too.
