Why dont people not like John Mayer?

I love John Mayers music but my moms always like “he’s such an ass” why?

He is kind of an a**. I mean, I’m not a fan of Jessica Simpson, but I think it’s pretty low to compare a woman’s sexual ability to ‘crack cocaine’ in a public magazine. (Well…Playboy isn’t exactly public. But anyone over 18 can read it if they want to, so I guess that’s as public as it’s going to get.) Sex is supposed to be a personal thing, and blabbing about it to the world is a bit…off-putting.

Having said that, I don’t care at all if he’s a jackass. To me, his music is pleasant and inspiring, and he’s one of the greatest lyricists I’ve ever known.

That’s what I’m trying to figure out dude! I love his music too, I just don’t know why under his youtube videos people post comments calling him a douche, and an ass. …. I dunno. :/
