Why don't I want to watch sex in movies?

This question may sound strange but I really don’t like watching strong sex scenes on TV or when I’m watching a movie. My boyfriend says I’m a prude and need to grow up but it digusts me and makes me feel self conscious about the way I look and if I’m any good in bed… Is there something wrong with me?

There is nothing wrong with you at all. I still feel that way. I always have. I am getting to the point where it doesn’t bother me as bad, but it does still bother me. I would be happy if I never saw another sex scene on tv again…but that isn’t going to happen so I am just dealing with it and trying to not let it bother me. My husband knows it bothers me as well and he has come to terms with the fact that I don’t like it. If your guy is holding it against you, then he really doesn’t care. You are the way you are and that is a hard thing to change.

there is deffinetly nothing wrong with the way you feel. Sometimes its very uncomfortable for people to watch. You boyfriend probably looks at it like just another thing to him… but to you its more then just another thing. If that is something you just can not stand watching you need to explain to your mate that, there isnt anything wrong, that you just feel those things should be left in secret. he might not agree with you but if hes anything of a good mate he will understand you. but on the other hand … there is no need to feel embarrassed. sometimes watching sex scense can help, you can learn new postions an different ways to pleasure.. its all for experiment. have fun with it an dont think to much about it… besides it is just sex…=] hope I could help..
