Why don't I like to masterbate?

I’m 23 and I haven’t had sex in over a month because my boyfriend got locked up. We use to have sex everyday and It was great. Since he’s left I have wanted to masterbate but everytime I try I loose interest really quick. Is that normal? Could it be possible that I really don’t enjoy masterbation because their is no emotional connection. All of my friends say I weird because I’ve never masterbated before this, am I?

Well some people just don’t enoy masterbating. Meaby your not like turned on enuff or something. But some people don’t like doing that at all so I think that its alright not wierd at all,

Sometimes the less you have it, the less your drive becomes for it. You would think it woud be the opposite, like oh I havent in a while, I want to! But no, I’ve had the same experience before. You kinda get addicted while you are doing it a lot, then the less you do, the less you feel the need to. It could also be that the biggest enjoyment for you is the closeness with another person. That is definitely one of the best parts, the connectedness and the closeness and intimacy, and you don’t get that with just yourself. Don’t let your friends judge you and your preferences though. What is weird, what is NORMAL? Just do what you do.
