Why Don't I Ever Feel Good Enough?

I have my good days and bad - who doesn’t? However, sometimes I feel like I’m never good enough. Sometimes, I am so down on myself, though mostly in private. I feel like I’m not funny enough, pretty enough, smart enough, and so on. Sometimes, I find myself being bland and boring, though when I’m quite funny, (a lot of my friends tell me I am), and pretty talkative. However, I get under the impression that more people like some of my other friends more than me, you know what I mean? Like, more of my friends get more attention with me, and I always blame myself? Is it just me? Why do I feel so down sometimes?

Answer #4

what you have is low self-esteem. I have the same symptoms. what I’ve done to help with mine is I found one or two of my strong strengths, and used them to help others. after I did this, I felt much better about myself. you can try this, or something similar. also, listening to positive music (mainly heavy metal music with a good beat or lyrics) helps, too.

Answer #5

I know exactly how you feel! You just have to try to think positive in those bad situations. Sometimes, people just like to talk to others. It is not you, people just like to socialize with all sorts of people. Just remember if you have at least one true friend the rest shouldn’t bother you.
