Why does the majority hate individuals?

I’ve noticed this pattern in school and global environments, such as race, religion, and class. Is this because the majority feels threatened by something?

Answer #1

Megan has it half right. Sheeple are scared of things that are different then themselves. Fear, like hate and love cause Sheeple to act, it’s the fight or flight response. It’s just the nature of the beast, you can’t change others but you can change yourself. “All are insane, but those who can analyze their delusions are philosophers” (Ambroce Bierce)

Answer #2

We sheep cannot guess what the outsiders are thinking… The unknown is scary to us…

Answer #3

yes they do pick on us…I should no…I got kicked out of school for being an individual! but the majority has a kind of goal…they all need to work together to get things done, and something different could change, upset or just annoy there plans…they dont really like the minority because there not doing what the majority is…there different. and the majority hates different. but screw the majority, if you want to be an individual stay true to yourself and accept the consequences. dont follow the herd

Answer #4

Because people are so close minded and afraid of change they want to be left alone. they are too busy wallowing in their own self pity and they try to make others feel bad just to make themselves feel better. in the end they are only hurting themselves more just like an alcoholic who drinks their problems away. they will have a “fun” rush for a little while but when its over they will feel like crap and their problems will still be there like in the beginning.
