Downloading songs from an artist for free is clearly ripping off the artist because they aren’t making any money off it. Just because lots of people do it doesn’t make it okay… If you truly like an artist why would you want to steal from them?

Because the music buisness is more about the buisness then the music now-a-days. Most the profits from CDs and such go to the record shops not the artist anyways. Piracy has allowed music to be more available to poor people. && Of course the middle class don’t like that. I support bands by going to there gigs, which are usually ridiculously over priced anyways. Also buy downloading it allows me to have a wider music selection because most music shops only stock mainstream bands.

its piracy. piracy is stealing. stealing is illegal. that simple. however downloading for a price is not.
